On February 26, 2025, the Jiangxi Textile and Garment Industry Science and Technology Innovation Consortium organized an expert team to conduct a special research in Qingshanhu District, Nanchang City. They visited four key enterprises on-site, namely Jiangxi Guoqiao Industrial Co., LTD., Nanchang Fudelong Industrial Co., LTD., Nanchang Huaxing Knitting Industrial Co., LTD., and Jiangxi Jingdong Industrial Co., LTD. Deeply explore the paths of industrial upgrading and scientific and technological innovation.

The research team was led by Professor Jia Lixia, the vice president of Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology, with the participation of Huang Wei, the deputy secretary-general of the secretariat of the consortium, and the doctoral teams from the School of Fashion Engineering and the School of Big Data. The research focuses on core issues such as the full industrial chain R&D of non-woven fabrics, the optimization of dyeing and finishing processes, and the transformation to intelligent manufacturing. Through methods such as symposiums and production line inspections, it aims to understand the technological demands and development bottlenecks of enterprises. Professor Jia Lixia emphasized that the consortium will leverage the research advantages of universities, deepen the cooperation among industry, academia and research, and promote technological breakthroughs and the transformation of achievements in key areas.
